Yost Family Farms

Hi, my name is Emily. I am in charge of all the day to day activity here at Yost Family Farms.

I have been married to my husband for 14 years. We have five children together who all help out on the farm.

Now I Had never had chickens or any real kind of a garden before we moved our family out to California at the end of the summer in 2017. We lived in town for the first year we were out here. And then We got lucky and Found a rental home that was in the country a little bit more.

 That is where we currently live. We are working and saving to buy our Forever Homestead, But for now we are Farming on a little over 2 acres.

 Right now we have 99 Chickens, 11 ducks, 5 Turkeys, 3 reptiles, and a puppy. I never in my wildest dreams thought that we would end up out west raising poultry, But I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.
